Change

Sometimes life happens and changes your plans. I know that God has his hand on this trip (and my life for that matter), but it's definitely looking way different than what I had stated in my last post. I've had some craziness going on that's put a lot of stuff like blogging on the back burner. But now I'm back.
My 3 month trip to Haiti has been pushed back to January. We're still working on getting a solid date of when I'll be heading down. Going in January would put my return date somewhere in April.
I still have around $3000 that I need to go down, but the push back in the date gives me more time to work and save up on my end. I'm working close to 40 hrs a week at the Rogue Valley Family YMCA doing a lot: Afterschool Program, Front Desk/Membership, and cleaning the rooms for the preschool program. I'll have a more solid estimate soon, but from what I can figure now, I'll have half the amount I need to go just from my work alone. This means I have $1500 left to raise from outside support. I'm thinking of a couple fundraisers, and will post them if anything gets solid.
