It's official! Tickets have been purchased!
Stephen and I fly out from Medford on January 9th! It's kind of dawning on me with every passing day that I'm actually going to be gone for three whole months, and that the date is fast approaching. It feels like there's so much to do and get settled before I go.
Most of you know I have some medical bills to pay after receiving 2nd degree burns on my arm, face, and legs from a small accident at my apartment at the end of August (If you didn't already know about it, just ask me if you need more details), and I still have student loan payments to make from when I was at OSU over 5 years ago, and I'm going to need a lot of supplies for my trip. :)
I'm very thankful for my job at the Rogue Valley YMCA for many reasons. Not only is the paycheck paying for a lot of my trip :) But it keeps me busy so I don't have time to stress or worry about the preparations for my trip, or the stay in Haiti.
God is the best provider I could ever ask for, and I'm trusting that because He called me to this mission, He's going to provide the finances I need to make it happen!
